Tom Gores’ Platinum Equity is backing a new alternative investment firm, Centerline Capital Management, that is slated to take on minority equity stakes in public companies.
Centerline will be structured to enable the deployment of long-term capital with a multi-year investment horizon and officials expect to begin investing in the first half of 2020.
