The New Jersey State Investment Council is still building out the state’s $78 billion investment portfolio’s $8.7 billion private equity allocation with a newly made commitment and a proposed allocation outlined at the November trustee meeting.
At the end of October, the investment staff invested $24 million in a co-investment vehicle alongside TPG Growth IV, which was founded 27 years ago by David Bonderman and James Coulter.
