Quant firm ROW hires for institutional sales

Andy Schneider joined quantitative global macro firm ROW Asset Management late last month as managing director, global head of business development.

He brings nearly two-decades of experience to the Newport Beach, California firm, and most recently was director of business development, North America for ISAM, the London-based systematic trading firm. Prior to ISAM he was at Campbell & Co. focusing on domestic institutional sales and consultant relations.

Schneider will now report to ROW’s Newport Beach and New York City offices.

“Andy is well known among the institutional investor community and has a track-record of success in partnering with some of the largest, most sophisticated investors in the world. It’s an exciting time for our firm, and we are looking forward to further strengthening our client service efforts while raising our visibility globally,” said Ryan O’Grady, ROW’s chief executive officer and founder.

ROW has experienced rapid growth over the last three years, moving from $500 million in assets under management in 2016 to $1.3 billion in 2019.
