Chicago-based GCM Grosvenor announced its final close for its Multi-Asset Class Fund II, which raised $983 million in committed capital.
Officials said that the fund pursues investment opportunities sourced from the $57 billion alternative investment firm’s platform with investments in hedge funds, private equity and debt, infrastructure and real estate. The firm’s platform boasts 160 investment professionals and relationships with 600 alternative asset managers.
Investors in Multi-Asset Class Fund II include public, corporate and Taft-Hartley pension plans, insurance companies and financial institutions based in the U.S.  . . .
