For the week ending December 20, Alternatives Watch tracked more than $1.8 billion in capital flowing into private equity, real estate, private debt and hedge funds.
The investments were revealed by four state pension plans across the US: South Carolina Retirement System; State of Wisconsin Investment Board; New York State Common Retirement Fund; and the Texas County & District Retirement System.
The largest allocation was to TA Realty with a total of $300 million going to the private real estate strategy from South Carolina Retirement System. There were nine private equity allocations . . .
