Dixon Boardman, founder of Optima Asset Management, has seen a few things in his more than three decades of investing in hedge funds, but even he admits that recent years have been unprecedented in the industry’s history.
The current stock market boom coupled with investor pressure on fees has conspired against a hedge fund industry that has seen muted performance in recent years.
