The $149.5 billion Teachers Retirement System of Texas in Austin approved two new commitments for its expanding real asset program last month.
Square Mile Capital Management and PAG Investment Advisors were added to the real asset portfolio that totals roughly $7 billion and has a slightly larger target allocation than private equity, which makes up 13% of the overall portfolio.
A $100 million commitment was made to Square Mile Partners VI-A, a fund that focuses on domestic real estate debt. Texas Teachers previously made a $100 million allocation to Square Mile last fall . . .
