The Sacramento County Employees’ Retirement System allocated $45 million to BlackRock Event Driven Equity Fund as part of its $662 million absolute return investment portfolio.
The investment was reported with the $9.7 billion pension fund’s meeting materials for its previously scheduled March meeting, which follows the system’s closing of its offices on March 16.
Staffers did there best to assure pensioners of their unwavering focus on the investment portfolio.
