Illustrating the benefit of deep pockets of a strong collateralized loan obligation (CLO) manager, Credit Suisse Asset Management's (CSAM) credit investments group last week raised at least $200 million for its Edition CLO Opportunity Fund, sources close to the investors said.
The fund opened in 2019, according to regulatory filings, and this is its second big commitment. It is thought that it had commitments of approximately $100 million at its first close.
The fund is CSAM's first commingled vehicle in the space and is a draw-down fund.
