Sculptor Capital Management announced plans for Chief Investment Officer Jimmy Levin to succeed Robert Shafir as CEO, effective April 1, 2021.
Officials expect Levin to be elected to the $34.9 billion firm’s board of directors at its annual shareholder meeting on June 24. Levin will continue to serve as CIO and provide day-to-day leadership and management of Sculptor Capital, formerly Och Ziff, and its 109 investment professionals and investment portfolios worldwide that include multi-strategy hedge funds, real estate and credit strategies.
