New York-based firm Aetos Alternatives Management welcomed Juliette Menga as a director and chair of its environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) committee.
Previously, Menga was at Alternative Investment Group, where she co-managed two fund of hedge fund strategies focused on ESG and opportunistic investments. In April, Titan Advisors purchased the firm.
Menga brings more than 16 years of hedge fund investing experience.
Aetos currently manages approximately $8.7 billion across multi-strategy portfolios and specialty mandates through separate account and commingled alternative investment solutions in addition to outsourced investment office services.
According to Aetos Co-President Michael Klein, the firm is committed to promoting socially responsible investing and a signatory to the U.N. Principles of Responsible Investment. The firm views active incorporation of ESG factors as a prudent from fiduciary perspective and additive to the investment process.
