Dell founder Michael Dell’s private investment firm MSD Partners attracted $825 million in commitments for its latest offering, MSD Special Investments Funds (SIF).
The amount exceeded the funds initial $500 million target as Dell and his family along with MSD employees made a significant investment into the offering.
MSD Special Investments Funds has a unique flexible, opportunistic mandate and is expected to target investments across the corporate capital structure -- including liquid and illiquid credit opportunities, structured financing solutions and equities.
