PayPal invests in diverse early-stage VC firms

PayPal Holdings announced this week that it will invest $50 million in eight early-stage, Black and Latinx-led venture capital funds in its commitment to invest $530 million to support Black-owned businesses, strengthen underrepresented minority communities in a push for racial equity and economic equality.

The firms selected represent urban centers across the U.S. and are run by a diverse group of entrepreneurs in their own right. The venture capital line-up includes: Chingona Ventures; Fearless Fund; Harlem Capital; Precursor Ventures; Slauson & Co.; VamosVentures; and Zeal Capital . . .
