Elizabeth de Saint-Aignan has joined $6.2 billion private equity firm Sun Capital Partners as managing director on the transactions team and will lead the firm’s focus on investments in the technology vertical.
Previously, she was a founding partner of the growth equity group at Jump Capital. And prior to that she spent seven years at TA Associates, within the technology investing practice, leading investments in infrastructure and vertical market software companies. She began her private equity career at Summit Partners.

“Elizabeth has an outstanding track record of sourcing, evaluating and closing highly successful technology deals, and she is a great addition to our team,” said M. Steven Liff, senior managing director and head of private equity in North America at Sun Capital. “Her relationships in the tech community and proven expertise will be highly valuable as we continue to build on our past technology experience and strengthen our focus on opportunities in this vertical, just as we have successfully done in healthcare over the past few years.”
“Sun’s strong operational focus and its ability to elevate company performance have been hallmarks throughout the firm’s history,” said de Saint-Agnan. “Bringing these skills to the technology sector is an exciting opportunity.”
Over the last 25 years, Sun Capital has invested in more than 420 companies worldwide across multiple sectors including business services, healthcare, industrial and consumer sectors.
