The $148 billion Teacher Retirement System of Texas added a $250 million investment to its growing energy, natural resources and infrastructure portfolio late last month.
The investment was in Digital Colony Partners II, which is a fund that is part of a unique digital real estate investment unit of Colony Capital. DCP was formed in 2017 in bringing together Digital Bridge Holdings with Colony’s global investment management platform. In 2019, Digital Colony closed its first fund dedicated to digital infrastructure with $4.06 billion in commitments.
