New York private equity firm Oak Hill Capital attracted the largest amount of third-party capital in its 35-year history with the $3.8 billion close of its Oak Hill Capital Partners V (OHCP V).
The fund was significantly oversubscribed and surpassed its target of $3 billion handily with over 90% of the investors in its previous fund rolling over into OHCP V. The fund attracted commitments from more than 100 institutional investors from 25 countries representing, endowments and foundations, pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, financial institutions, consultants and family offices.
