Ben Dreyer has joined Pathway Capital Management as senior vice president in the $70 billion firm’s London office.
Dreyer will be responsible for client servicing and business development across the EMEA region and brings with him extensive business development and corporate strategy experience, officials said in the announcement.
With offices in California, Rhode Island, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong, Pathway’s private market portfolio includes private equity, private credit and infrastructure mandates. The firm has been winning mandates here in the U.S., most recently a customized secondaries mandate totaling $150 million.
Previously, Dreyer was head of distribution for DACH and Nordic regions at Lumyna Investments (formerly Bank of America Merrill Lynch) in London. Dreyer was head of business development for Germany and Austria with Strategic Investment Group before that.
In both of his previous roles, he built strong relationships with a range of leading investors in the alternatives space and on developing value-added solutions to help them reach their investment goals.
