Excelsior raises first renewable energy fund

Minnesota-based Excelsior Energy Capital held the final close this week for its inaugural fund raising $504 million for a renewable energy infrastructure strategy.

The Excelsior Renewable Energy Investment Fund I will invest in equity of middle-market wind and solar power plans across the U.S. and Canada.
