The $32.5 billion private equity powerhouse TA Associates signed a definitive agreement to make a majority investment in IGEL Technology, an operating systems company that recently added computing industry veteran Bill Veghte, a former senior executive at Microsoft and HP, to its board.
TA is joining in with existing IGEL investor C. Melchers GmbH & Co., which has been the company’s primary investor since its founding in 2001.
