Chicago-based private equity firm CORE Industrial Partners raised $465 million in total commitments for its final and only close of CORE Industrial Partners Fund II, exceeding its original hard cap and raising its firmwide AUM to $700 million.
The fund was raised in less than four months through placement agent Sixpoint Partners and includes significant participation from existing limited partners as well as a diversified group of new institutional investors as commitments to the latest fund are more than double those of the firm’s inaugural fund that closed two years ago.
