Chicago firm Monroe Capital sold a passive minority equity stake to Bonaccord Capital Partners, a division of Aberdeen Standard Investments.
The investment will give the $10 billion firm resources in which to pursue strategic initiatives and will have no impact on the day-to-day management operations of Monroe, which is a specialist in middle market private credit investing.
Terms of the investment were not disclosed.
