Paula Volent has been named Rockefeller University's next vice president and chief investment officer.
After overseeing Bowdoin College's $2 billion endowment for two decades, she will assume the CIO post at Rockefeller on August 15. Volent replaces Amy Falls, who left the CIO role earlier this year to become the first woman to lead the management of Northwestern University’s endowment.
