BlackRock’s FoHF unit BlackRock Alternatives Advisors is planning to manage up to $500 million in a registered offering of its multi-manager hedge fund product, according to recently filed SEC documents.
BlackRock Hedge Fund Guided Portfolio Solution is a 40 Act closed end fund that seeks “absolute and risk-adjusted returns that exhibit low volatility and low-to-moderate correlation to global equity and fixed income markets, while preserving capital.” Assets will be split between four primary hedge fund strategies – equity hedge, event-driven, relative value and macro.
