Peak Rock Capital has seen increasing popularity for its private equity strategy, closing its third fund at its hard cap of $2 billion.
According to Ralph DeBarnardo, principal and head of investor relations at Peak Rock, the fundraise was completely virtual due to the pandemic and demand was strong across some of the most sophisticated institutional limited partners in the world. According to Alternatives Watch data, Kern County Employees’ Retirement Association and the Teachers’ Retirement System of Texas allocated $30 million and $80 million to the new fund, respectively.
