The New York hedge fund firm founded in 2001 by David Siegel and John Overdeck has completed the alternative investment trifecta with the addition of private real estate assets to its private equity and hedge fund businesses.
The firm has hired WeWork Managing Partner Rich Gomel, who joins as a managing director at Two Sigma and chief investment officer of Two Sigma Real Estate. He previously was in charge of WeWork’s real estate investment platform.
