Valor Equity closes growth fund at $1.7bn

Chicago-based Valor Equity Partners said its latest growth-focused private equity fund was oversubscribed, closing at $1.7 billion and boosting the firm’s overall assets $7.3 billion.

Valor Equity Partners V will invest similarly to other funds in the series, making initial investments ranging from $25 million to $75 million with the possibility of additional capital to support companies as they grow.
