Tulane University has appointed current staffer Richard Chau as its new chief investment officer to oversee the management of the university’s $1.4 billion endowment.
He replaces Jeremy Crigler, who retired as CIO last fall. The endowment currently has roughly 60% of its assets in alternatives with a 27.5% allocation to marketable alternatives, 20% to private equity, 10% to private real assets and 2.5% to public real assets.
