Securitize Inc. launched a new subsidiary, Securitize Capital, which will manage digital asset funds with exposure to cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance (DeFi) in the form of digital asset securities.
The firm is planning to launch two flagship funds in early June that will offer direct exposure to Bitcoin or USD Coin, with yields greater and fees lower than funds currently on the market, officials announced.
The idea is to provide investment vehicles for institutional and accredited investors to access these expanding markets.
