The $53 billion Fortress Investment Group has signed a deal with Colony Capital, whereby it will become a general partner and manager to Colony’s CDCF series of funds, co-investment vehicles and other non-digital real estate positions totaling $2.7 billion in combined AUM.
According to an announcement of the deal, Fortress will buy certain capital account positions related to a portfolio of 40 positions spanning over 100 properties in Europe and the U.S., paying $535 million.
