Jon Slavin joined UBS as the head of the brokerage firm’s Execution Hub, Americas.
UBS plans to deliver an outsourced trading offering for hedge funds and asset managers in the U.S. this year, with Slavin, the former global head of equity trading at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, setting up and running the U.S. trading team, in addition to contributing to the firm’s global strategy.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Slavin held previous leadership trading roles at PIMCO, Weiss Multi-Strategy and Sigma Capital. He reports to Todd Lopez, head of Execution Services . . .
