IMCO invests in Peloton Capital’s first fund

The Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) has invested in Toronto-based Peloton Capital Management’s first fund, which recently closed at C$550 million ($439 million) and is focused on North American middle-market buyouts.

IMCO invested alongside Canada’s largest banks and Stephen Smith, chairman, CEO and co-founder of the First National Financial Corporation and chairman of Peloton Capital. The size of the public sector fund’s investment has not been disclosed.
