Carlton Lenoir Sr. will serve as executive director of the Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund (CTPF) as of Aug. 2.
The nationwide search led to Lenoir, who was the chief benefits officer at the Springfield-based Illinois Teachers’ Retirement system for the last five years. The $12.9 billion city pension fund is the oldest in Illinois in celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2020.
