A consortium of global pension funds led by existing investors AustralianSuper and Queensland Investment Corp. took part in a blockbuster $2 billion equity raise for San Francisco-based Generate Capital’s latest climate solutions/infrastructure-focused offering.
There were also new investors including Harbert Management Corp., Aware Super and CBRE Caledon. Other existing investors participating include Sweden’s AP2, Railways Pension of UK and The Wellcome Trust.
