Private equity firm GTCR and Reverence Capital Partners announced that upon closing of the acquisition of Wells Fargo Asset Management, the firm will be rebranded Allspring Global Investments and former Legg Mason Chairman and CEO Joseph Sullivan will take the helm.
The transition is expected to take place at the closing of the transaction that is slated to take place before yearend. Current Wells Fargo Asset Management CEO Nico Marais will retire and become a senior advisor to Allspring.
