SLR seeks $800m for healthcare private debt fund

SLR Capital Partners raised an initial $480 million in equity commitments for its healthcare direct lending funds that along with anticipated leverage will bring the firm's total to over $1 billion in the strategy.
The SLR HCLF is building on the $8 billion New York firm’s strong presence in healthcare lending. SLR’s healthcare investment platform includes healthcare cash flow, life science and asset-based healthcare lending. The fund began investing during the first quarter of 2021.
