The $427 billion investment giant Macquarie Asset Management closed its new global infrastructure fund at $6.9 billion, bringing the firm’s overall asset raising in the space to more than $38 billion over the last three years.
Macquarie Infrastructure Partners V (MIP V) is the firm’s sixth Americas-focused, unlisted infrastructure fund. The investment platform spans nearly two decades of local operational expertise and long-standing sector relationships in the Americas.
The focus of MIP V is high-quality infrastructure assets within the transportation, communications, waste management, utilities and energy sectors.
