Connecticut names ex-LACERA staffer CIO

Connecticut State Treasurer Shawn Wooden announced the appointment of Edward “Ted” Wright as the new chief investment officer of the Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds.

Wright’s first day will be on August 23 and he will advise Treasurer Wooden and be responsible for day-to-day management of the pension fund. He replaces Laurie Martin, who left in January to become vice president of finance at Baystate Health in Springfield . . .
