New York State adds $1.8bn to real assets, real estate and credit

The $255 billion New York State Common Retirement System added niche alternative investments totaling another $1.8 billion to its portfolio earlier this summer as new opportunities arose.

Leading the way was the real assets portfolio, which saw two key allocations to new large infrastructure funds with a combined $650 million in fresh assets.
