Private equity and credit dominated pension fund mandates in August 2021, according to the latest Alternatives Watch Research Investor Scorecard that tallied $9.57 billion in new mandates during the month.
Private equity allocations ($3 billion) and private credit ($2.6 billion) continue to see increasing allocations among public pension funds. The surge in real estate and infrastructure commitments once again made headlines too with roughly $3 billion in new mandates.
