Tokyo-based PE giant SoftBank Group raised $3 billion for its second dedicated private investment fund focused on technology companies in the Latin American market.
SoftBank Latin America Fund II will explore options to raise additional capital, but so far, the firm has committed $8 billion to the region, officials said. Fund II will invest in technology-enabled companies across countries and industries at every stage of their development, from seed to public.
