Jeb Bush’s Finback raises $350m for debut fund

Finback Investment Partners, the Miami firm founded by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, closed its debut private equity fund with $350 million after three months of fundraising.

The founders and managing partners in addition to Bush are George Huber, Jack Oliver and Jeb Bush Jr. The partners are complemented by a team of private equity professionals who have been investing together since 2017. The team has deployed previously $250 million across 10 portfolio companies. This legacy portfolio has achieved current net returns of 52.1% IRR.
