The Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) named Michael Wissell as its new chief investment officer this week and he takes over from current President and CEO Jeff Wendling, who has been serving in both roles since March 2020.
Since joining the C$104 billion ($82 billion) pension more than three years ago, he has served on the executive leadership and investment management division, most recently as senior vice president of capital markets and total portfolio.
