Manulife Investment Management just closed its second co-investment fund with a focus on a diverse portfolio of North American middle market companies.
Manulife Co-Investment Partners II exceeded its original target in raising $683.5 million, officials at the Boston area firm announced.
Stephen Blewitt, Manulife’s global head of private markets said the fund also exceeded the size of the firm’s first co-investment fund in 2016.
“This successful fundraise demonstrates the strength of our platform and the potential opportunities for our investors,” said Blewitt.
