Institutional investors placed roughly $14 billion across the alternative investment spectrum in October 2021, according to Alternatives Watch Research’s latest Investor Scorecard.
The asset moves come as more allocators pile into private equity in a shift away from traditional investment strategies in a bid to invest in companies pre-IPO. In October, we tallied over $8.2 billion in capital flowing into private equity strategies as fund closes soared to record levels.
