Menlo Park, California-based STG Partners raised $860 million of committed capital for its latest fund, STG Allegro, over a four-month period.
The $6 billion private equity firm invests in software, data analytics and software-enabled technology services sectors. STG Allegro is an extension of the existing platform and will focus on lower mid-market software investments and far exceeded its original $500 million target.
Evercore Private Funds Group acted as the exclusive placement agent for the fundraise, officials said.
