Hedge fund return expectations jump for 2022

As the hedge fund industry has grown over the last year, so have its return prospects, according to recent figures put out by major Wall Street firms.

Although the projected returns still dwarf expectations held by private equity, private debt and real asset investments, hedge funds generally seem to be doing better.

JP Morgan, for instance, has raised its hedge fund return assumptions modestly from last year's projects as the analysts have an outlook for invigorated alpha opportunities.
