Temasek Holdings, the $34 billion sovereign wealth fund of Singapore, has established the Asia Sustainable Foods Platform, which it contends will accelerate the commercialization of sustainable foods.
A core team of food-tech professionals will manage the platform. The head of the new team, the platform’s CEO, is Mathys Boeren, who has worked in the food and food-ingredients industries for more than 25 years. Among other firms, Boeren has worked for Unilever, Givaudan, Symrise and Kerry.
