New Mexico taps real estate, private equity funds

The $36 billion New Mexico State Investment Council (NM SIC) selected two managers at its November meeting.

The Berkshire Bridge Loan Investors II-A fund was approved for a $50 million commitment within the real estate portfolio. This is a closed-end, co-investment vehicle that will invest alongside Berkshire Bridge Loan Investors II, which is a fund focused on continuing Berkshire’s multifamily direct lending strategy.
