Brian McNamara and Conor Power will join WhiteStar Asset Management from MacKay Shields Europe Investment Management to launch the firm’s European CLO business, WhiteStar Asset Management Europe.
The firm announced that WhiteStar Europe and MacKay Shields Europe will work together to ensure a smooth transition for the assignment of the collateral management agreements for MacKay Shields Europe CLO 1 and 2, which total €560 million ($623 million), to WhiteStar Europe.
