The $202 billion Teachers’ Retirement System of Texas tapped a number of existing portfolio managers for additional alternative investment funds at its latest trustee meeting.

Within infrastructure two funds were selected: GCM Grosvenor Capital Management’s Texas Direct Infrastructure Program ($250 million) and Antin Infrastructure Partners’ AIP Co-Invest Feeder 2021 ($80 million).

Three private equity buyout funds received commitments. They were: Clearlake Capital Partners VII ($200 million); GTCR LP ($25 million); and GTCR Strategic Growth Fund I/A&B ($30 million).
